About me
Hi, I’m Roksana (or Roxy), I’m based in Glasgow. I’ve been a qualified dental nurse since 2015, but my journey doesn’t stop there—I’ve expanded my expertise with additional qualifications in areas like intravenous sedation, radiography, dental impressions, and oral health promotions. I also handle a variety of management responsibilities, including overseeing practice inspection folders, audits, health & safety, stock controls and ensuring legal compliance.
What truly fuels my passion is dental implants! With over 10 years of experience, I’ve assisted with straightforward implant placements to complex All-on-4 procedures including bone grafts and sinus lifts. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the joy and relief on a patient’s face after a successful implant journey.
I also take great pride in mentoring trainee dental nurses and guiding them through their careers, especially when it comes to advanced skills like implants and surgical extractions or intravenous sedation. Helping others thrive in the dental field is one of my greatest joys.
At the end of 2023, I embarked on a delightful journey by partnering with my fellow colleague to establish Your Dental Recruitment agency. This collaboration is driven by our shared commitment to providing exceptional service and contributing positively to Scottish Dental Community.
